It’s so easy for me to talk to God than be vulnerable with the people in my life. My rational is “well God won’t judge me and he won’t mislead me”. Given my past experiences, I am careful to not make a bad choice that I try not to act without the prompting of the spirit. I have learnt that operating out of my emotions can be misleading and not the best for me or the situation. When I do, I feel real bad and immediately I ask for forgiveness. Then I ask God to show me where the triggers are and what responses I still need to work on. Continue reading Influential Counsel

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6 (NKJV)). As a result of our hunger our need for righteousness (right living or standing with God), God’s promise is that we shall be filled. How simple right? To be filled however, It’s therefore necessary that we make ourselves available for the filling, though our hunger.
Hunger is the evidence of humility that keeps us in that dependency mode on God and his word.
He that dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord he is my rock and my fortress, my God in him will I trust (psalms 91:1-2). Almost every morning I awake, these words are my first fruit. I remind myself daily where I reside – In Christ. Continue reading My dwelling place
